Use the retailer account that manages the stores. A brand account does not export another retailer's inventory.
Open Feeds
Sign in as your chain's Admin and open Stock / Feeds. Find Google local inventory. You need a Google Merchant Center account linked to your Google Business Profile.
Save each store code
Enter the matching GBP store code for each store and save it. Use exactly the code in Google Business Profile. Only active, visible stores in active chains qualify.
The panel shows Eligible rows, Missing store code, Stale rows, Excluded by policy and Inactive rows. Use these counts to find missing inventory before exporting. The panel states the freshness rules applied to your feed.
Create the export URL
Choose Create URL, then Copy URL. The full URL appears only once. Keep it private: anyone with it can fetch the feed.
Choose Rotate URL if you lost it or need to revoke access. Rotation invalidates the old URL. Update Merchant Center with the replacement.
Add the feed to Merchant Center
In your local inventory data source, choose Scheduled fetch and paste the URL. Google fetches a newly generated file when it requests that URL. Stockisto does not push changes into Google or guarantee when Google publishes them.
For a manual upload, choose Download TSV and upload the file instead. Download is unavailable when Eligible rows is zero.
Check the file
The tab-separated file has one row per eligible product and store: id (SKU), store_code, availability and quantity. Quantity stays empty when no count was supplied.
| Stockisto status | Export value |
|---|---|
| In stock | in_stock |
| Low stock | limited_availability |
| Out of stock | out_of_stock |
| Carries the line | on_display_to_order |
Compare the downloaded rows with Merchant Center's processing results. For missing rows, check store codes and freshness. If fetching fails after rotation, replace the old URL in Google.
